Assassin's Creed Comics

A couple of Assassin's Creed comics that never survived but a few pages. The second comic is the beginning of a series that Joe and I created--the story of Smokey, Altaire's legendary goofball of a horse, inspired by the actual antics we encountered in-game.

Haha! Wow. I almost forgot about these. The first time I got to a major city in Assassin's Creed, I recall sneaking in by disguising myself as one of the "scholars". My horse, however, wasn't in on the plan and continued to follow me and actually bumped civilians out of the way while trying to catch up to me. That moment was more memorable than anything else that happened in that game to be honest. Anyway, that was the inspiration for "Smokey", the mottled grey horse that makes up for his lack of good looks and lineage with plenty of personality.
